A Quiet Kind of Brave

I began writing poems when I was eight years old. Over the years, life kept changing, yet my writing poems stayed the same. They pretty much grew up along side of me; shifting in language and shape. Some became softer, louder - braver. It just depended on what I needed at the time. 'A Quiet Kind of Brave' is a collection of those pieces throughout my life. It is a quiet record of the courage it takes to simply feel deeply and keep on keeping on.
